Rick the Dick
What a great Tenners worth of entertainment. Got to go down as one of those classic New Lodge Nights. Brilliant effort from all the Blues. Feel sorry for those who missed it. Well done lads.

Billericay56
Superb performance, team played with spirit and never gave up. No disrespect to Saps but in his absence we seemed to play more open football and created a number of chances. I seem to be one of a very few who questioned the penalty. I thought their player involved went down too easily. I was impressed with Margate they looked dangerous most of the game. Was not sure why their player was sent off. Anyway an excellent performance and congratulations to the Billericay players who played with pride, skill and wonderful spirit. Proud to be a Billericay supporter. blue pilgrim
Agree with the previous comments - a real pleasure to be there last night. From start to finish the game was played at a high tempo - credit to the players and officials, who kept the game flowing. I guess Margate were playing a number of squad players, but even so, they looked pretty good and obviously have the resources to do well, if they gain promotion via the play-offs. Although stretched at times, our boys worked their socks off and were rewarded by some fine counter attacking moves. The finish was sensational, going from 2-3 to 4-3 in the dying moments. I was walking round when we equalised and one of the Margate players had some verbals with the lino, claiming the goal was offside. Although he didn't flag immediately, he had a chat with the referee soon after and out came the red. Yes it was a shame that only 203 saw the game but it's been a long season with a lot of home cup games and with another home game on Saturday and then the trip to Dagenham, I wasn't surprised at the gate. With more work planned for the pitch, lets hope we can reduce the number of postponements next season, because we always lose at least a 100 on evening games.
