cup of tea
well, we're still up - just. Even first half, unfortunate that Frankie couldn't get the header in as that would have been 2-0 to us but never mind. Second half, Enfield moved up a gear and looked dangerous particularly on their left wing. Cracking goal from George, hope someone recorded that but couldn't get the equaliser, not enough time left. Decent crowd/support from Enfield, like the stadium as it shows you can have an athletics stadium and still work as a football ground.
urchinman1961
Agree with the Frankie miss could have been a game changer and within minutes Enfield got the pen and were back in the game they started stronger In the second half even then martin had a great chance to keep us in the match but finishing not our strong point unless your George Purcell never lets us down superb strike would everybody please stop doing the maths its painful
Wivenhoe Urchin
A very good effort from us in a game that we started well. Good goals from us and nice to see Martin score. Perhaps the season is finishing too soon for us as we seem to be pushing good sides and just falling short. A few poor goals conceded in the second half made it difficult for us to get a result. shrimper
despite being in a poor team george has really put in some hard work this season and has never stopped he has scored some great goals and does more than his fair share of defending at times he is here there and everywhere , i guess saturday will be his last home game before he moves on next season as of course he is far to good for ryman north ... cup of tea
Hope George stays but if he decides to move on then I can understand it. Never given anything less than 100% for the club and I'm sure he'll have the respect of all the fans.

Eastside Urchin
You couldn't blame him for going to be fair,he would be too good for that league but maybe he is happy here, knows he could score a bundle and would give it a go for a year. Would definately put him up in legendary status if he did decide to stay. I would hope Tuohy stays as it may just be what he needs to kick start his goal touch again after injury
