2014-15 Supporters Goal of the Season & Awards Night

Recommended Posts

This Saturday the BTSA will be asking fans to vote for their 'Goal of the Season' and this will be awarded on 18th April 2015.

I've put together several videos of the best goals to help people decide:

2015 AWARDS NIGHT

Saturday April 18th Doors open 7pm.

It will be a relaxed entertaining evening, with a mixture of fun quiz rounds and awards. It’s a chance for Supporters, Management, and Board to mix and enjoy the night.

It’s also a chance for us to wish the team well before they take on Concord Rangers in our second Essex Senior Cup Final in recent years.

Entry to the event is by ticket priced at just £5 each. Bring your own nibbles and lucky mascots.

Quiz rounds will be a mixture of fun questions, and Billericay Town fc questions, so the modern telephone won’t be much help. But if anyone is outed as cheating, they will be required to entertain the room with a song.

The Awards presented will be: Supporters Player of the Season. Goal of the season. Players Player of the season. Managers Player of the season. Len Dewson Award. Golden Boot. Winning quizzers will gain some quite extraordinary prizes.

Please book early.

So not only do we get to vote but we also have to pay a £5 to go and see won it.

Is this the norm with other ryman clubs?

I have been asked this question by a few BTSA members and i've asked it on the forum. (on their behalf)  and guess what? No answer,

So I'll ask again.

Will supporters/spectators be allowed to stay and watch the players awards without having to pay to attend the quiz night? (which is NOT a BTSA run event)

Cheers

I think you make a good point BB, as I thought the same when reading the advert on the main website.

'It’s a chance for Supporters, Management, and Board to mix and enjoy the night'

..........except the supporters have to pay £5 for this privilege!

So not only do we pay to be a BTSA member we now have to pay to be in the company of management and board at an awards evening that has traitionally been free entry and a good ol' knees up!

If its about making money surely encouraging as many people in the bar for a few drinks will have a similar effect!
