Amazed there hasn't been more chatter on here about that!

 

I think it's a step sideways/down for him and it'll probably end in tears given the constant state of turmoil at Hoddy in recent seasons.

The new St. Mags manager must also be looking over his shoulder awaiting players following him out too.

 

For sure it'll make the Hertford/Hoddy/St.Mags derbies a bit tastier next season!

 

I suppose it depends on the clubs plans for promotion. In light of the current ground situation, I am sure it is more of a 2-3 year plan.

 

Good luck to him. Rumours starting to circulate about players migrating from Stansted Abbots to Lowfield...more to follow I am sure.

Judges cut his teeth at Hertford, he's a Director of football now don't you know!  As for Greengrass, reckon he would be back in a heartbeat given the chance, bloody nice fella though.  Are you still playing vets, or have you retired to the allotment?

Your guess is as good as mine, but I don't think it was anything to do with anything on the pitch.

 

All I know is that there was an "incident" at the Awards night - nothing more and trying to get any info out of there is like trying to get blood from a stone

Yep, he's gone and has always been a great servant for the club.

We all wish him well in his new management career and is always welcome back at The Park.

Maybe Gavin Kelsey can put training cones out for us next season if he's still at a loose end . . .

Looks like Crawley Green are looking for new reserve managers, Ron Bates and his assistant have stepped down. Such a shame, they have been brilliant last couple of seasons. Some very good players in the successful reserve side, and a lot of young talent coming through.
