v St Neots

This result, coupled with Arlesey losing yesterday, means we are now mathematically safe from relegation.

I suppose the fact that it's disappointing that it's taken this long is a positive sign (given where we were in January), but at the end of the day it's mission accomplished for the season!

Have no issues with Foulser coming back, he is 30 and therefore plenty left in his tank, yes he has had a serious injury, however having seen a specialist who works with WBA and Bayern Munich yesterday, we are convinced he will come back and stronger than before the injury... the specialist said he has no concern over the injury whatsoever, and they are working on his hamstring and glutes throughout the whole summer, and he will come back in great shape.

Hope you are right mate. And it's not going to be a recurring injury, we definitely could do with a bit more pace and agility in the heart of defence.

Amazing show of character and spirit second half where we were the better side by far.............little Chris Henry my MOTM  as they couldnt handle him fairly.............hope he stays with us.

Interesting discussions at half time ranging from those who thought we were superior to St Neots to those of us who felt our abject defending frankly rendered that view to be daft !

Good that Dan Read got a couple as another scoring striker would be on most shopping lists this close season........if there were bets in sealed envelopes as to what positions need to be reinforced, I am sure m ost of the envelopes would contain the same words.

I was one of those who thought we edged the first half based upon chances created and overall play but you can't legislate for 2/3 gift goals.

Chris Henry on the left and Wazza (back to his best) on the right. Could be very interesting.

Have no fear Graham, as Bakes has intimated, a top striker has already been lined up!

Ed should be fine for tomorrow. With his tight hamstring we've had to be careful with him this weekend and we didn't want him to play both games so held him back yesterday. With Scott's 3 game ban starting next weekend we can't afford to risk Ed getting injured.

Thought the other two did very well and was great that Ready got his reward for his great attitude recently and lively performances in training.

If we have Chris on the left and Wazza on the right with Clurgy and Searsy in the centre,we're have the smallest midfield in the league !

Assuming all fit and on form, Adam Martin, Adrian Sear, Chris Henry and Warren Harris would be some midfield!

Adrian Sear's injury seems to be a worry,as it's taking a long time for him to get fit.As good as Adrian is,can we keep having players who are carrying these long term injuries.

We all know Adrian is one of the best central midfielders we have but we need consistency of selection and with Jamie McClurg having this worrying knee problem,I think we may have to choose between one or the other,as surely we can't have the same problem going into next season.

I certainly agree that going into next season we need players who are fit with no lingering injury doubts.

With Searsy and Clurgy hopefully with a bit of time off in the summer they will come back injury free, but as you say Searsy continually being out injured is a worry.
