Explain away to the open forum.

I see you have chosen to delete my posting...why are you afraid of the truth? Nothing in my posting was untrue, nor was there any bad language.

You are defending the indefensible and you will be just as guilty as the Chairman for failing to stop the BTFC slide into oblivion.

The next time I write I will add censorship to the list of failings.

Crispin,

Firstly how pathetic you are that you do not have the bottle to put your name to your posting and have to hide behind a made up name.

Secondly it has always been made clear that the Management team and officials of BTFC are all approachable and if you have any questions can be directed at them face 2 face instead of hiding behind a name.

Thirdly you come on here with facts which are open to all to read which is totally un-professional and you call yourself a football fan.

Why not go back on your own forum as stated in your profile you support a team from that island.

Andrew Turner

BTSA - Chairman

Dear Mr. Crispin,

Thank you for your thoughts. As you see we feel that strongly about what you wrote (yes, I did read it) that we felt obliged to have it deleted.

Why, you may ask. Well as a Canvey supporter (this is what you have put down on your profile), we cannot see what the bloody hell the workings of our club or club chairman is to do with you.

I feel that Andy T has said it but if you don't understand it, I will repeat...Go back to your own forum.

Thank you,

GazzaBTFC.

As someone who is not connected to the main club or supporters club in any official capacity I like to think I give everyone a fair crack on the forum.

Everyone is entitled to an opinion as long as it is presented in a sensible manner. How can you possibly say why someone else has done something without asking them and then say its true...That's ridiculous.

You think the chairman is responsible for the failings of the club. Thats fine thats your opinion (although why dont you go and speak to him face to face about it - its not that difficult). What you cant do is print a load of spurious comments with no substance in fact whatsoever.

I hope that clarifies the situation for you

What a coward you are.

First of all you come on here hiding under an asumed name. Fair enough many do that. But under that name, you post insults and views which can only be described as inflamatory. Again fair enough, ohers do this but with reason. I cannot see what reason you have.

When I tried to send you a PM, I found that I couldn't. Shame. I would've liked to have asked you what has the club ever done to encourage these views. Obviusly you wish to continue to "air" these insults with out any intelligent discussion. Unfortunatly you have left me no choice but to ask you to return from whence you came but I wouldn't be surprised if you found this difficult, 'cos what mother in her right mind would accept you back to the womb!!!!!!

Mr Gasbag,

You really are rather rude when you get rattled by losing a logical argument. Your comment about crawling back into mother's womb is particularly purile and seems to reflect your intellectual incapacity to maintain sensible discussion.

If you were capable of rational thought you would be willing to debate the following questions;

1.Was Kendall sacked in spite of unprecedented success, to be replaced by a manager given an unheard of 5 year contract?

2.Was there a no confidence vote in the Chairman which he won by signing the ladies' team as full club members at the 11th hour?

3.Were most of the long term members/supporters alienated to the extent they walked away from the club?

4.Did the Chairman appoint himself Chief Executive and subsequently duck the question as to whether this was intended to be a paid position?

5.Did the Chairman instigate the change from a membership club to one of limited liability totally owned by shareholders?

6.Were supporters encouraged to buy shares that are worthless?

7.Did the Chairman gain total and unrestricted control of a club previously owned and controlled by members?

8.Did the Chairman enter into a scheme for a 4000-8000 capacity stadium when BTFC crowds are less than 10% of this figure?

9.Were many supporters further alienated by the proposal to build the stadium in Basildon?

10.When results started to go really sour, did the Chairman blame the fans?

11.Was a new Manager with very little knowledge of soccer at this level appointed?

12.Did the Chairman indicate that voluntary relegation may be in the Club's best interests?

13. Were many of the above initiatives postulated as ways the Club would progress to higher levels?

14.Did any of them work, or has the Club gone backwards?

You will no doubt delete this posting because you can't bring yourself to address the questions it poses. You will again argue that my identity is the most important issue. You will again exercise cowardly censorship.

Nevertheless, these are the truths and they won't go away. I repeat that by offering succour and support to he who calls himself Chairman and CEO, you will share the blame for the complete demise of a once famous non league club.

I am not defending anyone, I just think you are a sad b*st*rd who has a lot of problems, hence your vitriol about our Club and Chairman, which from your personal profile, has little or nothing to do with you.

If you had a ounce of reason you would

A) Not refer to me as Mr. Gasbag (I don't find it personally offensive, just rather childish)

B) Discuss and post your point of view in a less imflamitory way

C) Discuss you point of view down the club or with one of the members of the BTSA. Either myself or Andy Turner will only be too pleased to speak with you personally. You may notice that we can send and accept PM's. I suggest you do the same.

D) It is not me that deletes the posts. I do not have that power.

E) Are you related to Mobrien by any chance? (I have put forward the view that you are indeed him or either a friend of his)

Now, I think the above is quite reasonable. I wonder if you can be and take up either one or all of the points.

I look forward to hearing from you.

And what has this to do with you? You have yet again, refused to answer the question.

If you want answers to questions, first state your interest in the club, its future and the actions of our Chairman.

Your original posting (and further comments - I believe it was you that started the "name" calling") was inflamatory and my return was showing you the contempt you desreve with a "glib" comment.

When you can answer my question, then and only then will I (or someone else) return and answer your questions.

Now kindly, go away, think about your response and inform us all, what interest you have in our club.

Anyone wishing to find out Crispin's true support, just click on his name and see under teams supported.

Funny but you are really winding me up. Shame you hide under an assumed name and don't put your details down mate!!!

As for the "charge" that I don't face up to reality, I do but am not as cowardly as you to not make myself known. I reserve my questions not to the general public but go down to the ground and ask those in charge. Pity you don't do the same. Oh but you're a "loyal" Canvey supporter so you wouldn't.

And as for feeling sorry for the supporters, please don't, we don't need your pity.

If you have any balls, you will face us, the club and the chairman and not post these questions on a forum using an alias!!!

You know, you bore me, you really do. You haven't the least bit of interest in the club or it's business. All you want to do is come on this forum, stir up trouble and get us wound up. Consider yourself a success....You have achieved all your lifelong goals in life. No go away, please.

Not sure who this Canvey fella is but he makes some very valid points and ones which I am sure are being asked by many "silent majority" Billericay fans - and no, I do not feel fans forums are the answer either as the same things are churned over again and again and nothing ever really gets addressed. Perhaps 250ish through the turnstiles on recent Saturdays is a reflection of fans disillusionment?

Just wanted to put my view...
