v Hitchin

Recommended Posts

A little early given we gave a game tonight, but you can speak to Geoff tonight at the game to book a space on the coach to Hitchin. Details on the Trust website.

Also, for anyone who hasn't seen, Hitchin are doing a ladies say in Saturday where all female fans get in for free.

They also have a guy with a drum coming to the game, so we will need a few loud voices to counter that!

Finished 5-2 to hitchin after Yorke was sent off early.

The delightful corby drew to lowly Dorchester.

and relegated Burnham managed an away draw to Weymouth

WE NOW REQUIRE 2 POINTS TO GUARENTEE SAFETY.

we should already be safe but mathematically we need to 2 to be guaranteed.

This was so disappointing after a couple of decent performances when we looked like we might have turned the corner.

I left early for the first time in ages so missed both our goals (and Hitchin's fifth) but that doesn't make up for such a gutless display from the team today. It was as if we believed that we had absolutely no chance with ten men, and our confidence and belief suffered accordingly.

Btw our defence's inability to mark or tackle is now a serious concern, and needs sorting out asap imo.

Hammer_rebel   Whilst I agree we aren't a dirty team we have developed a cavalier attitude to discipline. Take a look at the FA Fair Play table for our league we have the fifth highest number of disciplinary points and today wont improve matters.

Apologise to everyone who went, Ill discipline did cost us today, and I have just done a radio interview that will be published today with my views.

Two games ago we had not received a straight red card, today we have 3 in 2 (I do however feel Scott's was still very harsh as no intent whatsoever) but the other two have been extremely poor.

Nathan is also correct in our defensive displays at times, not much we can do about it now with the deadline passed, but is something we will sort.

Won't say much else other than aspects of today and Tuesday were unacceptable and they will be dealt with.

Agree but it still doesn't look good.... Teams will just see 3 in 2 games and although I thought jakes was out of character and Scott's was harsh to the outside just looks bad
