littlehampton
Quite a ding-donger of a match in prospect at The Village Glass Stadium this evening when Town face newly promoted Witham Town, with both teams needing to win for very different reasons. Witham are battling to avoid relegation in their first season in the Ryman Premier Division, whilst Town need the three points to move closer to the play-offs.So, with the kick-off under an hour away, it all to play for with a close encounter expected. Town are on a good run, with some excellent away performances this season. Wins against Margate and Leatherhead should inspire confidence. Let's hope for more of the same.Good luck guys, you can do it !!'COME ON YOU TOWN'

DerekR
Kalu scores for The Town on 88 mins, so the FT score is WTFC 1-2 ETFC. This brings The Town up to 6th position in the league !!!!!!!!

littlehampton
There are no easy matches in this league, and this match was no exception. Town needed a good all round team performance to win the match and secure the points, and that's what they delivered. We left it late, but we got there in the end. Very well done to Brad and our players. We've now moved up to 6th in the table, and the play offs beckon if we can maintain our excellent run of results. Two difficult away games in East Sussex coming up, with trips to Peacehaven and Lewes. Win those and anything is possible! Let's have another Margate turnout at Peacehaven on Saturday. See you there! lovely stuff
A hard fought win. Witham fc were very reminiscent of Billericay, both in playing style and facilities. Stanley and Aryan are proving a formidable pairing in the central midfield.Add to that good pace and strength in defence and that in turn allows us to counter-act the more physical and longer ball teams, whilst still allowing the flair players to still do their stuff. If the squad stay fit and we don't get significant suspensions then i strongly fancy us to make the play-offs.
