Sir Rebel1965
Looks like Bashley are the first team in the S&W to fail to pick up enough points to survive - only have 7 points with 8 games left and now cannot make it.
Reading Rebel
Staines are relegated today bar the shouting. With 5 games to go they are 15 points a drift and a minus 26 goal difference to make up. I also think we'll be playing Farnborough next season. They got spanked 7-2 at home today and sit one off the bottom with the fans calling for Spencer Day's head! Reading Rebel
won't they both go in the ryman ? You never know but where Farnborough is situated I'd say the Southern Premier would be favourite.
Reading Rebel
I think you can add Burnham to list of relegated teams as one more point dropped from 6 games and they are as good as gone.
Reading Rebel
Staines and Burnham are relegated. Seems Burnham turned up at Weymouth with only one sub with Gareth Risbridger in the starting 11. Credible 3-3 draw considering.

staines_rebel_Jr
Merthyr and Kettering have both won their respective leagues today. Merthyr won 9-0 and are now on their way to 100 points Kettering lost 3-0 to rugby however Aylesbury failed to beat Aylesbury United in "El Quackico" meaning Kettering are now 11 points clear with only 9 left to play for. Reading Rebel
Farnborough relegated and have started their clear-out with two of their biggest earners in Dan Bennett and Jamie Hand already gone.
staines_rebel_Jr
Tuesdays matches Paulton vs Frome Poole vs Banbury if Banbury lose and frome win then Banbury will be relegated regardless of the replayed match against us At the other end of the table Weymouth have now dropped out of the playoff spots due to picking up just 8 points from their last 10 games (relegation type form)
3spirit
Farnborough relegated and have started their clear-out with two of their biggest earners in Dan Bennett and Jamie Hand already gone. Reading the Farnborough forum, there seems overwhelming disgust and venom being aimed at their manager/owner Spencer Day and how appalling the club has been run over recent years. It puts into perspective how easy it is for a non-league football club with a proud history to go off the rails. Certainly makes you proud of what Slough Town FC have achieved without having a ground and under the guidance of our current Chairman.

Getting flak but he has put a lot of his own money into saving Farnborough. I think a bit of credit should go to Spencer Day because it looks like, from the outside, that without him and some other people Farnborough could have gone bust. Farnborough seem to have been spending too much trying to get success for a number of years and are now starting to pay the penalty and starting to slip down the pyramid. I agree,Reading Rebel, that it does seem bit unfair on Spencer Day considering he bailed the club out, when the club nearly went extinct. Reminds me of Martyn Deaner in that respect. He saved Slough Town FC's bacon, without getting much acknowledgement of the amount of time and money he put in. Allegedly both are and were wheeler dealer types! [allegedly !,don't want to be sued! ha ha!] but without either of their efforts,Slough and Farnborough, would probably both be consigned to the dustbin full of extinct football clubs. I always think that both clubs are similar in achievements and status.Real shame seeing them struggle like this.Hope they find their way out of this current trouble. Sir Rebel1965
Will be interesting to see how many points Frome pick up on Saturday as if they can get clear of relegation, it could save the league some embarrassment with the Banbury issue. Hopefully none but the latest conspiracy theory on the Banbury forum is that we could get our revenge by giving the points to Frome! BTW the dopes at the FA do know that there is only just over a week left to make a decision?
Mr Rebel
Let them blame us for something their fan/s caused and for getting relegated. 1 game with us whether its played or not isn't the sole reason they will most likely be div 1 next season but if it makes them feel better blaming us... Flattering themselves to think we would care enough to supposedly throw match to spite them, not that for a second anyone would believe we would
