Must have taken Truro hours to get away from HP what with all their players constantly falling over and having to be helped up on their way back to the team coach. Their habit of dropping to the ground whenever any of our players got near them was a disgrace and their management should be ashamed of themselves for employing it as a tactic as they clearly do. Amazes me how consistently naïve the referees are on the diving and playacting. It needs to be stamped out before it completely ruins the game.

 

Thought we were much improved, particularly in the second half. Hopefully we can build on it for the remaining games.

Much better than recent performances and we scored a goal ! May have been a penalty but it certainly lifted the team and we maybe deserved a share of the points on the second half performance.

Must agree about the new signing, Chris Henry, who looked good and enhanced the attacking potential and showed that  wingers have a big part to play at our level even if it means adjusting the formation of the team.

Their second goal was definitely the result of a foul and was one of a number of poor ref decisions yesterday................certainly recent refs could not be accused of being homers.

So overall  much to be encouraged about..............and all the teams below us currently in the league also lost !

their manager or at least 1 of their coaching staff was seemingly banging on the home dressing room door at ft as well so no surprise his team use a lot of tricks to get as many decisions as possible. respect doesn't seem high on their list of priorities.

 

do think we can learn something from how some teams play the ref. of course we don't want to be full scale cheating but we do seem a bit too respectful and nice at times in lots of areas of games actually.

 

we did play long ball a lot but Truro deserve credit they shut us down fast and in numbers often not allowing us any option but a rushed pressured long ball

 

once it went 2-1 we gained in confidence and although we didn't play our best probably still we at least got the ball in the right areas and gave them a tough battle to see it out
