Please ask them to bring a plastic bottle and if we are down at half time they are to throw them at the ref - the Southern league has authorised this as acceptable practice.

Although we failed to get any points it was a better performance than of late and Chris Henry looked promising.

Much better performance and very nearly nicked a point with Ed Smiths far post header.

 

Am I the only one who thinks their second goal was a foul?

 

I thought Chris Henry looked promising when he came on.

 

My only quibble about our starting 11 was that I thought Jake Parsons should have started on the right side of midfield. He's been our best player the last few games and would of given us a bigger threat going forward.

 

For a team of giants Truro certainly fall over easy and squeal at the slightest touch.

You would never see our players doing that!

 

Disappointing to lose but a much improved performance and attitude this week. The boys went out on their shields and as a fan that's all you want really. Once we got the goal you could see how much it lifted the team and the crowd and we might have nicked a draw in the end. Encouraging debuts from Malone and Henry and what a shame for Adam Foulser going off injured. He looked pretty good before he went off so very promising for next season if he can shake off these hamstring problems.

I think you're right SM.

 

Compared to some other teams in this division IMO we don't go down easy and don't appeal strongly enough for decisions.

 

Basically sometimes we are far too honest for our own good because a lot of these Refs are very easily fooled.

Lot more positives second half but we always seem to look very vulnerable at the back. Would like to see a Henry parsons wide combination next match. He looked very good.

At this time The Players need the backing of the Supporters with the singing which again was more or less non-excitant yesterday for about the last 3 games.

Please don't come back with, well we didn't see you (me) starting it off. I am quite busy during the game to have another thing to do.

Henry looked a good find, wonder how long we will have him for? Still looks like amateurs against pros' at the moment.It was probably ok to charge forword playing attractive soccer in the lower leagues, but to progress you need a solid defence first of all.Sadly those types of players cost more.
