Forget blaming The FA,Southern League, bottles, lights , balls or anything else , that 2nd half performance was disgraceful. This from the same team who came from 2-0 to beat Dunstable two weeks ago.

NO FIGHT, NO FIRE , NO LEADERSHIP and NO BOTTLE . If it wasn't for the fact travel and entrance were free ,I'd be asking the players for a refund from their wages.

Been along time since I've never clapped a team off pitch but tonight was one.

Roll on next season .

Thats good Christof at least it came in handy for you.

After what happenned in the first game its one ground i do not want to go to again.

I hope they gave our Chairman a bottle of Champers for his sportsmanship.

Questions need to be asked about the total lack of performances since Christmas.

There are a number of players who are not good enough and if Neil and Jon think that only a couple of players are required then they are mistaken.

There needs to be some serious changes made as this season only the minimum league level has been achieved and there were no cup runs - There may well be a new ground on the way, but with the performances of this season there is not much to bring in new fans and keep the current ones interested.

Thank you Evostik Southern League Board for no justice - Banbury proved tonight that they could not organise a piss up in a brewery and therefore should not be in this league.

TBF, Bakes and Unders are not just looking at a couple of players.

With Foulser, Warren Harris, Adrian Sear and Clurgy that's 4 on top of maybe 2 or 3 others.

We've also had some very good performances this season and achieved what most supporters wanted us to achieve.

Yes I know the team should have played better too and to lose in the end comfortably to a side that could well be relegated does highlight the areas that are lacking. But everyone knows this so it doesn't need repeating but I look forward to the close season to see the comings and goings.

I would not hold out to much hope as one of the managers have already indicated that they will be keeping the majority of the team so could be another struggle next year. We plainly need some better defenders for starters, most football fans know that you build a team from the back first, I do honestly wonder if its a league to high for them.

Rebelade, you paid your money and travelled to watch,so you're entitled say how you see it but is it really such a surprise that Slough are going through the motions,in these last couple of matches, when there's nothing to play for.

Seems to me this happens to nearly every side I've watched over the years, when they are not involved in the promotion/play-off's or relegation battles.

The only time I've ever seen different is when a new manager has been appointed and he's told his players that they are playing for their place for the next season. This is not the case for us.

This is not a knock at our players but most know they will be back and bigger tests await next season, than these run of the mill fixtures that have to be fulfilled. Also one or two of our players probably have an inkling that they won't be in a Slough shirt next season,so this doesn't help enthusiasm for these end games either.

Jon, we comfortably survived in this division in our first season back which is what 99.9% of fans would have hoped for. The second season is a bigger test for the players and management as they've had a taster of what's required. But as someone said the two promoted sides coming into our league will be quality opposition plus whoever gets relegated into this league will also be strong so next season could well be tougher. So I think this Summer's player recruitment is vital to our chances I feel.

Well, very disappointed to lose as it didn't look on the cards at all from the first half when we were clearly the better team and should have been in front. One mistake in the second half and suddenly we're losing and Banbury's confidence and intensity zoomed through the roof and we were second best thereafter with 2 more bad goals to complete a humiliating 35 minutes.

Whatever people say, we have had a massively patched up side in 2015 (we've faced injuries to key players all season and latterly 3 suspensions thanks to the Corby and Hitchin games). Thought our committment first half was excellent considering, but mistakes have cost us badly throughout the season and they did again last night.

Well done to all those supporters who turned up again in numbers, we've certainly helped to raise attendances throughout the league on our travels.

Give them a chance,Jon Black, and they can prove you wrong.

To me they're the best managers we've had for a good number of years.

I'm not saying they've got everything right this season but what manager does? This league is as much of a learning curve for them and a lot of our players,as it is for us fan's watching.

I think we've done relatively well this season and anyone who thinks different must be in cloud cuckoo land ! Are you?!

My biggest worry for next season is we go down the same route as Burnham,Biggleswade and struggle

I don't think it is fair to pin all our hopes on Wazza and Foulser as they have been out a long time and will need time to get back to their best.

We need fresh blood and a few tweaks here and there and we will do better than this season. If we don't I fear for 2nd season syndrome

Even top teams are always looking to strengthen and prepare for future challenges..................we have to do the same.

We have learned a lot about this league no and so no doubt have the managers , and hopefully the players........................in the same way it is apparent that teams have learned about us as the season progressed.

Of course we should keep most of the squad but some of them may have to accept that it may be in the squad that is their position as better players come in.

Lets trust the managers to do the right thing

Your right Graham, continuity is often the best way to approach a new season.

If we can get Foulser, Searsy, Clurgy and Warren Harris back 100% fit, add in another defender, midfielder and a striker I think we won't be far off.

There's always room to bring in players,if things don't work out for the initial start out squad anyway.

Adrian Sear has to step up to the plate this season,if he's fit.We know he's a quality player but we can't afford another season with him in and out the side.

I see it slightly different with Jamie McClurg,as he's a mainstay of Bakes and Unders.

Add another quality centre midfielder[hopefully taller] and with Adam Martin and the ageing but reliable Ben Edwards, you've got 5 quality centre midfielders, battling it out for 2 or 3 positions.

Another centre half and forward goes without saying but one area I would like to see added to is by bringing in a left sided young,up and coming player for cover for Chris Henry[if he stays] and for Ryan Parsons.

What a great way to learn off of them two,for any up and comer.

I know Staines have a 19-20 year old player called Joe Aribo, who's played the odd game in the Conference South, who has come out the Staines Academy. He's a left sided player.I'm not saying we would get him or he's the bloke we need and I know we need experience in this challenging division but it's no good having a youngster on the bench,if he isn't going to get some game time.

Our team needs balance and young fresh legs occasionally.

Tom Moran and George Short were ideal last season but a couple of new faces or at least one, would

be nice for the start of the new campaign.

One or two good youngsters keep the senior players on their toes !

I know it's of little significance now but don't the officials check the balls before a match?

The officials will have been given 3 match balls before the game. One will be taken by the referee and the other two will be out by the dugouts. What Banbury do once the game kicks off is down to them.

By the way,I'm not being detrimental to Oscar Betts,as I've never seen him play or know his best position?
