Banbury United match to be replayed

Very frustrating and annoying following this. Where is the justice eh? We're winning originally, what happens happened, nowt to do with us. We rightly appeal but then through no fault of our own again we withdraw the appeal on sporting grounds. Now after all that you'd think we'd at least get a draw!

Clueless though the FA and Southern League undoubtedly are, they cannot be blamed for the result tonight as the players should have done the talking on the pitch but didn't.

That to me is the most disappointing aspect of it.

Got to be honest.... It's been the same all season we are a team of 2 halfs!!! We played class in the 1st half and fell apart in the second. We were shocking ....scrappy and all over the place. I am shouting for Chesham on sat cause I do not believe banbury should of got a second chance and should of been relegated already

Further proof that we lack a leader/s in the team.

Yes I know the team should have played better too and to lose in the end comfortably to a side that could well be relegated does highlight the areas that are lacking. But everyone knows this so it doesn't need repeating but I look forward to the close season to see the comings and goings.

Questions need to be asked about the total lack of performances since Christmas.

There are a number of players who are not good enough and if Neil and Jon think that only a couple of players are required then they are mistaken.

There needs to be some serious changes made as this season only the minimum league level has been achieved and there were no cup runs - There may well be a new ground on the way, but with the performances of this season there is not much to bring in new fans and keep the current ones interested.

Thank you Evostik Southern League Board for no justice - Banbury proved tonight that they could not organise a piss up in a brewery and therefore should not be in this league.

The Banbury manager speaking on their local radio was told recently from Hungerford's manager Bobby Wilkinson that there are a couple of teams "on the beach" ,and that Slough was one of them. Sadly this seems to be the case. I've a feeling that Chesham are another , and Banbury may well escape the drop. It looks like the youth who threw the bottle at the ref has kept them up!

Roll on next season.

It will be a complete travesty if Banbury actually stay up and will just further cement that fans can affect a result if they wish. I presume if the same incident happens at another Southern League match the league will have no choice but to go down the same avenue which could become an absolute farce!

Absolutely awful 2nd half after a decent enough 1st half.

Once Banbury took the lead they totally humiliated us and we just rolled over and surrendered without any answer. Don't want to say and/or believe it was the case but we looked like we couldnt be bothered.

Thank god the season is almost over as 2015 particularly has had so many lows and very few highs. This was one of the absolute worst lows of all. Can totally accept we will lose games but there is losing and then there is utter humiliation. Need more battle even in defeat rather than going down with a whimper.

Worst thing is we know the team can battle on its day. Utter frustration

What a farce that whole affair turned into. From the Southern League ordering the replay to STFC withdrawing the appeal and then the players turning in a truly couldn't be arsed performance. We might as well have handed Banbury the points weeks ago.

Having an off day form-wise is entirely expected. Being outfought time and time again is wholly unacceptable.

Bad: performance 2nd half; only one match ball; injustice of having to be there anyway

Good: Pie and chips before the game; getting in with Rebel Delaney's ticket

Many thanks RD, and also to Mike L for sorting. RD, I have donated the money I saved to Kay and Radders' walk, and I will buy you a pint at Holloways next season. Cheers!
