MK_Coach
Do you think that parents should drive under 21 team players when away match mid week ? This could be a stupid question but many drivers are still young, or just passed the driving test. Having other players in the same car when driving dark small road in winter time is not really safe. Should it be a limit per age and number of players per car for away matches ?
Winslow Boy
I was driving myself to work on site and then to first team games at 17. This under 21 stuff seems bit ott at this level.

Either these boys (or it sounds more like you!) want to play or not.

I hope the driver will not drink after the match which is a common problem at this age

Uncle T
What a silly question. U21 players should be playing mens football and so would get to games in the normal way. Who wants mum and dad taking little Jimmy to football when they are 20.
tringarmy
Old enough to marry, vote, gamble, drink, buy a house, get a mortgage, run your own business & drive for a living but have to ring your mum to play football

MK_Coach
I think that the under 21 league could have 16 and 17 years old who do not have a valid driving license. I know that they could also play in the under 18 youth league but .......... Also many 18 do not have a driving license for more than 12 months I agree my question is stupid if we are only in adult football but this under 21 league is between youth and adult. I read somewhere that a driving restriction law could be voted at the parliament: During this time (i.e 12 month after getting the driving licence) they would be banned from carrying passengers aged under 30 or from driving between the hours of 10pm and 5am unless they are accompanied by an adult aged over 30. Does anybody know more on this driving age regulation ? Mid week matches could require arriving home around 11pm if they start at 7:45. Do we need to start matches earlier ? I looked at the mini bus17 seats rent and it is around £150 for half day. Is anybody renting a mini bus for away matches ?
Whitley Bay
How do you think that U18's play adult football? Someone older gives them a lift. So why not in this League?
