GlenSTFC
Just read he's been released. Shame he's gone from star performer to being released in less than a season. Must admit I thought he would be, he really looked the part on the wing at the start of this season but that injury and loss of form has cost him dear, wish him all the best at his next club. Mr Rebel
Totally out of form and its an understandable decision. Hopefully we can get some fresh blood in to improve our fortunes Good luck to dobbo who underdoubtedly was a major factor in our early season successes
Hammer_rebel
Actually quite shocked, I know he wasn't having the greatest time but we know what he's capable of. Good luck for the future james!
Reading Rebel
Dobbo was certainly our best player in the early part of the season before his unfortunate injury and a major influence in helping us get points on the board. For some reason he has not been the same player since his return. I'd like to wish Dobbo all the best wherever he ends up and thank him for helping us get promotion to the premier division. Reading Rebel
With Dobbo being released before any announcement of new players coming in and with what is a pretty thin squad already, lets hope that Bakes and Unders are confident of getting in one or two of the players they are talking to. Jon Underwood
I wouldn't say it's that thin RR. We had 17 players to choose from last weekend until Scott Harris fell ill plus we have Adam Martin back after this weekend, Liam Malone now available and Searsy who is currently injured which makes 19 (with Dobbo now gone). Within that number both Adam Foulser and Jamie McClurg are fully fit and available to start after their long term injuries. Would agree that the balance isn't quite right though and with this in mind we are confident of adding 1 more before the weekend.
Stuntman Mark
Not at all surprised, he's been really out of sorts for a while now which is a shame given his outstanding contribution earlier in the season. Whilst I think any player can go through a bad patch, you can get through them by working hard for the team and keeping things simple and I'm afraid he wasn't doing either of those things. Still, we have a lot to thank him for as his goals and performances at the beginning of the season look vital now. I hope he can get back to that sort of form because he could be a very good player at this level. Good luck Dobbo.

I suppose Reading Rebel was inferring that the squad has had such rotten luck with all these injuries[plus a suspension[Adam M.] and a missing player[Liam], it's perceived thin. The dilemma is whether they can get back to the way they were before their unfortunate injuries.Let's wish them well and hope so.

Graham Cox
Shame about Dobbo----thought in the first half last weekend he was starting to get there again----if he had kept up his early season form would have been a contender for player of the season

rebelade
Had a chat with Dobbo's dad before and after the game on Saturday and we were saying the same that he hadn't recreated that early season form, shame as quality player who was maybe trying to hard and should have just got cracking crosses into the box. Best of luck for the future
Rebel Kay
Sad to see him go as he played a big part in last season. One of my all time favourite Horsham Rebel photos was Dobbo lifting Alfie up on the pitch at Kettering. All the best Dobbo wherever you go next
