GlenSTFC
Just saw on the leagues twitter account that striker Dan Read has re-signed for us which in a way you could expect as we're not scoring but he's playing a league below so not sure but the managers obviously know him so are giving him a chance. Reading Rebel
It's on the Egham Town web site. I think he was still getting over an injury when he first signed for us from Godalming and this season has scored 13 goals for Egham.
Egg&Ham
Good Player Bit of a blow for us. Hope he does well for you
Reading Rebel
Does that mean we now have 4 strikers or is one leaving us?
GlenSTFC
I think we'd keep all 4 considering it's March and we're towards the end of the season. Can see a few in and outs this summer if Neil & Jon are wanting a play off push next season.

3spirit
A good move.Worth a look before the season ends. Pity about Johnny but hopefully this break will lead to him getting his hunger back.
Reading Rebel
At his best DJ will be a big loss but like all good strikers you have to have the hunger and desire. Hopefully the rest will do him good and he will be itching to get back playing in a Rebels shirt next season.
Jon Underwood
Absolutely no doubting JD's ability from our point of view but sometimes you have a season when it doesn't happen for you. An injury at a key time and also some very irregular and tough working hours at times have made it difficult for him. We think a break from it all at this stage is right for him and for us and the door is certainly not closed but he will need to find that 'spark' again. Ready is a good player and one we have always rated. In his first full season with us at Godalming he was outstanding (in partnership with Scott Harris) but suffered injuries at the wrong time the following season and it's only this season that he's had a run of games that has enabled him to recapture that form. This is a ideal time to bring in a hungry player who is keen to prove himself and we look forward to seeing how he does.
Mr Rebel
Dyer was never seemed the same after that home game where he was on receiving end of a shocking challenge that ref totally ignored that kept him out quite a while Whatever happens with him and the club from now he has been a good servant to the club and scored some cruical goals at crucial times Hopefully Read can help spark some better goalscoring form for the team in general
Hammer_rebel
And with Ed due an injury any game now prob the right time
RebelDelaney
All so Scott Harris has been one of the first names on the team sheet during the season battling against these tough defences week in week out I thing has gradully taken its toll. In my eyes I would say he deserves a break.
Bernie Gogan
Simon Read - Dan Read, have I got the connection right? Those officionados amongst us should be well aware of the former's striking potency. Presumeably our managers can confirm one way or the other. Jon Underwood
Yes, Dan is Simon's son. Showing my age here but I played with Simon at Farnborough and actually first coached Dan on a summer course when he was 5!!
