nice draw.. bit of long forgotten dim n distant rivalary, and with them struggling we have a good chance to progress at the lane.. plus it should generate enough int to get an ok sized crowd out..

Good draw this one and an old score to settle from three years ago.

With Farnboro really struggling at the foot of the Conference, I fancy us to get a result.

Good news about the Stortford game being on a Friday night. Might try and get off work early for that one.

You obviously are not aware that we'd made the conference three times before without Westley's help. What's the match 'caller offer' about? Did he call off some Canvey match (think I remember one being rescheduled although I don't know why) or is it a reference to the Stevenage v Aldershot debarcle?

There's a bright side of this trip. Cherrywood is bad, but Park Road is worse.

It's a new game. Based on 'Im Sorry I Haven't A Clue' where they play Mornington Crescent, this is Park Lane. Trentus Maximus is playing the 'anti-clockwise' rule so couldn't go straight to Park Lane, instead he almost got there by going to Park Road. Quite cunning really because under the rules I can now only use an anti-clockwise route which takes me to Seaview Road - wrong direction!

Anyone got the answer to this one? I did look at Holton Road but I can't use it without letting him straight in within two moves.

I wonder what Tim Brooke-Taylor would do in this situation?

You can't use a bypass route in an anti-clockwise scenario. Thanks for the suggestion anyway,

I think he's got me. I'm going to stick to my origial move - Holton Road - and hope he misses the obvious connection.

Yeah, the moment GW f**ked off we sorted out the clubhouse. Decent beer on tap and open on non-match days.

It was 1st May, my birthday, you won 2-1 but we still won the leagee!

Plonker! How can you get directly to Cherrywood from Holton Road? Don't you understand the rules? You might get there if you used Mile End Road and Purley Way but, by your own admission, the reversible back would come into play and, unless Cherrywood has been moved 4 miles to the south, you are stuffed.

I'll give you a clue. Use a First National bus timetable and look at Smallgains Avenue.
