Luke rightly mom for me. His saves first half were top class and but for those would have been three down. They were well on top first half and our goal was totally against the run of play.

 

Thought we were better side for most of second half but failed to create too many clear cut chances. Dan Brown got into and controlled the game much more.

 

Interesting mo for their joint managers. One in dug out and one in the stand communicating via mobile.

Perfectly summed up by Bakes 'not the greatest performance but who cares, it's 3 points'

 

We've been the better team in our last two games and come away with 1 point so today was a bit of pay back time.

 

I thought today we were crying out for a holding midfielder, someone who would just sit there and protect our back line. Too often, especially first half, when Arlesey got beyond Dan Brown and Adam Martin they had a lot of space to run at our defence and create the chances that came their way. Someone like Searsy or Ben Edwards would have been perfect to just sit in the hole and mop up any danger.

 

Luke Williams was outstanding today and thoroughly deserved his MOTM award.

 

Really impressed with Dan Brown who showed what a class act he is.

 

Although IMO It'll be at least a couple of Months before his fitness is up to scratch  :rolleyes:

Not good but a goal and three points.......and this time a more or less unanimous call for MOTM in Luke.

 

Arlesey looked quite good but only because we made them look good.

 

There will be many better days .......................and I agree with Sue about their kit-thought they were wearing Hi Vis tabards when they came out !

I'm not saying they didn't have chances, but we has I think as many.

They had a one 1 on 1 and other chances, and we had Dan's couple Scott's couple and Ed had a couple and the goal.

Based solely on twitter, Arlesey had 7 clear cut chances Slough had 6.
