I enjoyed talking to you! Despite my job, it's pretty rare for me to actually watch a game these days, so it was good to be at the ground and I enjoyed the result, the approach both teams had to the game and the performance of the officials, who got just about all the "big" decisions right.

I was stood with geoff knock,Alan constable and another guy a regular ashford town supporter and he said that he has never known an ashford Keeper to save a penalty in open play (no penalty shootouts).Jason informed him I'd saved 1 against afc hayes.

Surely burgo in all his time saved a pen,Craig Ross was a decent keeper or Mac ca? ????

Tyler Tobin saved a penalty against Woking in this seasons win in the Surrey Senior cup. Apparently the first that Scott Rendall had missed in his career.

Tyler's saved three or four; the one at Woking and at least one other this season, plus one at home to Potters Bar last season. I remember Burgo saving one at Ramsgate and I'm sure he saved one in an FA Cup game at Wimbledon. I don't recall Macca saving many, except in shootouts and I can't remember Craig saving any either.

 

The odds are always in the taker's favour though, so I'm not too surprised that I can't remember too many saves.
