Work needed at Holloways Park

Ground Grading Success!

Would just like to thank all the volunteers who have helped the club achieve the required ground grading and who have also helped transform and restore the ground to its former glory! When the ‘call for help’ was put out a few weeks ago the response was absolutely fantastic and we should all be very proud of our efforts. Just some of the jobs and tasks undertaken included weeding, carpentry, cementing, painting, gutter repair, road clearing, pothole filling (unfortunately not very successfully!), tea making, gardening and flood management – some of these tasks taking place in monsoon conditions!

Also, and following discussions with Beaconsfield SYCOB FC, the ground now has some covering behind the far goal with seating - which means that when the heavens open the run for cover will now be shorter! Also good for creating an atmosphere in both halves too.

Once again a HUGE THANK YOU to everyone that volunteered and roll on Saturday.

Up The Rebels!

Interested to hear of this 'new' stand, was this needed as part of the minimum amount of seats needed or was a last minute addition? Anyone got any info on how many it seats and is it a temporary stand?

Yes Glen, it was needed to make up the minimum amount of seats and its a temp stand, on hire whilst we need it.
