Stuntman Mark
Sad to see Luke go but not surprised. It was very exciting when we announced his signing and he looked really good in the pre-season games I saw. Then of course he got an injury that kept him out for a while and when he did get back to full fitness he found himself mostly being played out of position in the wide areas. Whilst you could never fault his effort, he was clearly struggling to get back to his best whilst playing in a position that didn't seem to suit him. In the meantime Searsy and Ben Ed have formed a good little partnership in the middle with Adam Martin to come in - this seems like the best thing for both him and the club but who knows what would have happened if he didn't pick up that injury! Best of luck to him at St Ives.
GlenSTFC
Firstly thanks to Luke for his time at the club and all the best for the future. I too wasn't surprised and to be honest was expecting his departure due to what's already been said as we are top heavy with midfielders and he wasn't going to be a regular.
