It's pretty normal for fans wanting to be behind the goal their side is attacking, pretty logical really!!! I'm told it's the moaners who stand on the sidelines...

You better join us then,Glen ! [The Moaners!] ha ha!

Moaning, trouble making oldies stand on the side lines, just ask any linesman or referee!

Don't tar us all with the same brush!

I would say the opposite Stuart, I don't think we feel under a huge amount of pressure, other than what we put ourselves under, the pressure for us was a hell of a lot more last year.

Also I don't think we have any confidence issues whatsoever in our squad.

Being 100% honest from a managers/players point of view I don't think we care which way we go, I however am a little superstitious, and with our results when we changed I had asked that we continued going the same way, and that is why we have.

It would be great to hear the fans being loud behind the goal on Saturday, and really try to rally the troops in what is one of our toughest games left to play.

Neil, while I agree with some of what you've said here,I do think our aims for the season have changed. There's not as much pressure now,as Slough sit comfortably in mid table and we now seem [fans, management and players] to accept that we have an uphill task to make the play-offs,not impossible but extremely unlikely.

The confidence issue must have happened as that's the reason for changing the way we play,as results weren't going well, when the change happened.I think all the fans can accept the reasoning behind the move.

It has long been the case that the Slough contingent behind the goal, make more noise away from home than they do at home.

Don't know the answer but perhaps a couple of free pints for those that do the singing/chanting may loosen the vocal chords ! Also perhaps we could find a young drummer, like we did have at one time. It's a bloody racket but does create an atmosphere.

First point, totally agree and that is consistent with just about any football teams supporters.

Second point, NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO. Unless you can get 100 more voices to complement, rather than be drowned out by, the drum then it is an awful, awful idea.

It might be a point that if you are not in the ground under the shed before kick-off you might not get under there if Weymouth are bringing 2 coaches, and a high percentage of those fans head that way.

We could end up with how it was against Wycombe, where each set took a half and bounced songs off of each other

Disagree there, I think you get a better view of the overall picture of a game from the sidelines. For instance with a goalmouth scramble it's sometimes hard to tell what's going on. There again I suppose those that like a sing song would seem out of place on the sidelines in a ground with not many fans.

As for a drummer, please leave him/her at home !
