Squad update 11 January

Top decision and communication from the managers. Most times it's hard enough to get a word out of ONE manager, but we have two who are able to explain in depth why they have made a major change to the squad with regards to a very popular player. When we first made Bakes and Unders joint managers with a raft of transplanted players from Godalming, I was worried with how they would deal with potential squad changes, but they have consistently made decisions that have mostly been vindicated. They've shipped out troublemakers, those who have become peripheral and those with potential to disrupt the tactical harmony of the squad.

That's why they are called managers !

I didn't mean he was disruptive, more so had the potential to disrupt. Neil said himself that he felt Jake's issues had the potential to spread to his back four, thus compromising how the rest of the team plays. No fault of Jake's, we're all human, but it was a potential disruption caught early and resolved by the managers. Jake is an outstanding goalkeeper and I'm sure some time away will get him back to where he needs to be and would gladly welcome him back.
