A deserved win for LL?

They took their chances very well with a very good midfielder who kept finding an incisive ball to either inside right or inside left. We did not take our chances. although they were shaky defensively they battled hard......especially when they were down to 10 men for the last 20 minutes. So yes they deserved it. They will be back at their own pitch next season and I think they will be a much stronger team then. I hope they do well as their players are always respectful young gentlemen.

Have they finally got Planning Permission approved for floodlights? In addition it's a long walk from the changing rooms to the pitch - are they installing a 'Secure Walkway' for players and officials to get to the pitch?

Would be great if they have.  I always enjoyed going to Rowley Lane.  The pitch is one of the best around and the facilities minus the lights and walkway etc are good.  Being a club that groundshares ourselves, it is tough paying out lots of money to another club for the privilege of competing at this level.  If we ever get our own facility, which is not looking any time soon, I have no doubt we could kick on a level or two.  Did Hertford leave anyone out?  Was expecting a comfortable away win based on recent league form.

Hertford had a few out but still had a strong 11 starting. Lions took their chances after our defensive errors and we kept having near misses. Just one of those days.

The Lions representative seemed certain they will be at their pitch next season.
