Seeing as we now have several areas of terracing for supporters to group together, it's high time that we started a bit of singing and chanting etc.

 

My first suggestion is for all the supporters that WANT to sing to arrange to mass in a certain area of the ground. The best place will be the new terracing behind the goal. But when we're not shooting towards that goal, perhaps we should mass under the Bus Shelter which has now been re-developed.

 

Or, maybe we could be controversial and stay behind the goal with terracing, and give Chopper a bit of support.

 

Now all we need is something to sing.... which is where I need your help. Suggestions pleeeeeease....

thought first 20 minutes we had some great singing (well words if not tune)

 

Personally prefer to go to the bus shelter as you see more of the game from half way

I've heard you like to hang around bus shelters. Normally at around 3.30 when the school kids are coming out!

Nah, couldn't make it to Flackwell.

The atmosphere produced by Towners is generally good away from home, but when we're playing at Goldsdown, it's rubbish - unless something really provokes the fans into chanting.

But now we have the terracing, we can mass all the supporters, whereas before we all had to watch the game in one big long line, and you couldn't hear what someone was saying three steps to your right.

I would like the supporters to group behind the goal terracing when we're attacking that goal, and then go to the bus shelter when we're shooting the other way.

Finally, I've got the PC working at home again and for the first time ever, Little Miss Happy and I are surfing the net together. We both agree with Robson but feel that someone should be serving me pints of beer under the new stand and LMH would like chocolate buttons!

Those that want to sing did congregate well at Flackwell and realised quickly that they could make quite a loud noise easily under their shelter. It will happen naturally I'm sure!
