IMO it is a working document and not a decision document.

 

Perhaps it should read 'Seek agreement to Dispose of Two sites for Free Schools.

 

I think there are some clues in the words:

 

'Seek approval'  and 'Cabinet is requested to resolve'

Slough Observer quote the council in that the final hurdles aren't all that big and that work could commence in a couple of months

Yes here's that quote, I so hope it's true. Would be pretty surreal to actually see building work start!

 

Planning officers now need to address the planning obligations and on the basis of this being a straight forward process, Slough Borough Council say building work could start in ‘a couple of months’.
