Rich.m
Anyone know what time the Blue Boar is opening....id presume 10ish? Fingers crossed we play on friday as the team have performed well in the last two games, so it would be good to keep the momentum going. I would expect the upminster mini bus to be in attendance, so arrive early because they cram 200+ in it for billericay away! See you friday to finish the year off in style! Billericay or Harrogate
Love the upbeat website report on the thrashing of Enfield. That's what we need - ENTHUSIASM nothing wrong with a bit of arrogance !!!!!! I missed our first 5-0 for some time but will be there Boxing Day when we can give Hornchurch a good thrashing. COYB its beginning to look good again. Lets get the website and forum moving again. Love the twitter comments of Glenn Poole well done mate we need a few more with 150 games. Dedication is the way to success.

Rich.m
The boys done good again, didn't think Hornchurch really threaten us until we went 1 and 2 0 up. We pressed them really well all over the pitch, they couldn't cope with us. Fantastic finishing from Teddy and Rowan.....Halle just had to join in the xmas party! One game at a time, lets enjoy what this team is providing for us. Nice to hear some noise from our end again today. Keep it going!
Bill of Shenfield
Couldn't make it today so I was unlucky to miss it. Great win.
GazzaBTFC
A great performance... Considering it was Boxing Day and the pitch was heavy... Not just by the team I hasten to add but also our diminishing volunteers who ensured the turnstiles turned, the bar was served and our 50 50 and programmes were sold My thanks goes out to everyone
blue pilgrim
Over on the Upminster Forum, their regular match reporter makes some interesting comments about the game. At various stages of the report our pitch is described as "barely playable" and then "disgraceful". I think we would all agree that ourpitch is problematic, but we still witnessed a good game and none of the four goals could be attributed to the state of the pitch. At thislevel you need to be able to play on all types of surfaces, and judging from their league position, Upminster obviously cannot. The report also commented on the reaction of the home dug-out and home supporters to the referee and goes on to describe his performance as excellent. That is probably because very few of his dodgy decisions went against the away team. He certainly wasn't the worst we have seen down here but his second half performance was very inconsistent and very fussy. To give just one example; at one stage we saw a two footed challenge on a home player, that went unpunished ( presumably because he didn't make a meal of it by going down and rolling around). Then, right in front of me Teddy Nesbitt made a firmbut fair challenge, winning the ball completely, and gets booked because his opponent does the dead swan routine. Sorry, my rating would be average for this level, certainly not good or excellent.
extaffyjim
Dagger is well known for some rose tinted and often tongue in cheek (I think) match reports. Our official site has an alternate view
GazzaBTFC
You find the Urchins match report written very much in their favour... When questioned you get back the comment that it is a humorous take on the game and hey, where is your sense of humour... ... Despite the position they are in, the Urchins never lose their sense of arrogance... But that is why we love them so... So I would take their report with a local council supply of (road) salt
blue pilgrim
Gazza, I am well aware of Dagger 03's match reports, but they are dangerous, in that the 80% accurate detail gives a semblance of respectability to the rose tinted stuff. On the other hand, the report by Dagger 01 on our Official Site is clearly humorous and pxxx taking. Ho ho ho and bah humbug. COYB
