Chesham United away

Sorry I disagree on the bit you say no clear cut chances, just listened to the game again

Ed's header first half, jake hitting the post, Knighty header from 5 yards, Scott chance and Ed's 1 on 1 with the keeper.

I didn't see Somers having to do much on the saving side apart from 1 late second half when he had to catch the shot going to the top corner. And the disallowed goal for a foul on him.

But yes it looked a 50/50 game.

I think most of those chances were not clear cut, IMO only Knighty's was clear cut but even that one apparently took a slight nick off a player to make the header more difficult than it looked.

RR what is your definition of clear cut?

At the end Ed's one, the game before when Searsy put Johnnie through to score was only different as it was just out of reach of Ed.

Knightys one 5 yards out 9 times out of 10 he would have put it away.

Just putting it out there but to be fair Knighty's header was harder than we all thought. It wasn't actually a cross from Jake Parsons, it was a shot. It came quick to Knighty and he done his best to head it in but slightly spun off his head. That to me also is not a clear cut chance

One on one, open goal, free header.

As said, apart from possibly Knighty's one, I didn't see any of those on Friday.

Darren Purse has left Chesham to join Welling in the Conference. Comfortably the best centre back I've seen this season, shame we've already played them twice!
