I was stunned when I heard the news this morning and I've been struggling to get my head round it all day. I think it will only properly sink in when I don't see him on Saturday. I've got to know Chris over the last 12 years or so and this has come out of the blue. I can only echo what others have said about him as I'm a little lost for words still. RIP Chris.

Totally shocked by this sad news.

I didn't know Chris to talk to but always saw him as a familiar face at games and on the supporters coach.

He always came across as a quiet and considered person and a true Slough Town fan.

Another true Rebel that has been taken from us far too young.

My sincere condolences to his family.

RIP Chris.

Chris and I first met back in 2005 when I began to help him out with the clubs website. He had single handily created and managed this for a number of years and set all the foundations for what is currently online today, without his selflessness the club wouldn't have such a fantastic resource. Despite handing the reigns over a few years ago he was still willing to help us out on match days contributing to Twitter when none of us could make it to a game.

On a personal level like others I am shocked. I will dearly miss sitting with him in the stands at games, chatting and having a laugh alongside his dad. As mentioned, his knowledge of non-league football at all levels was astonishing, alongside his understanding of the game and thoughtful commentary. I will never know how he was able to know the playing history of so many opposition players or players joining Slough but it always brought a smile to my face when sharing a new bit of information.

RIP Boxy.

When I read this morning of "remembering Chris" , I thought it was referring to Chris Sliski  , but was totally shocked when I found out who it was. Although I only new him visually , I was aware of the dedicated work he did for the club ,and have overheard him several times at matches on his great knowledge of the non - league scene. Like Dave Pearcy , far too young to be taken. Two floodlights failing in the same season. Condolences to all friends and family.

R.I.P.

Am really sorry that I will not be able to make the funeral, as unfortunately I will be on a training course that day with work, and have no way of getting out of it.

Pleased we had the minutes applause yesterday, and glad that we could get the win, and dedicate it to Chris's memory!

I.m very Tony and the your family at the lose of Chris.

It is a big lose when families grow up supporting a club going to games together having different opinions on games and players and one passes away a real bond and friendship is lost.

It was a big lose for me when my dad passed away after thirty years of going to games together.

It was not the same after but you must carry on coming to the games as you have alot of friends and all will give you support over this difficult time.
