Unbelievable.

I didn't know Chris that well but obviously knew of him and his contributions to our fantastic website. I remember being very drunk with him in a St Neots pub on our weekender a few weekends back. He was a good lad.

I think he was one of, if not the best contributor to this forum and  was very knowledgeable about non league football and the game in general. I always enjoyed his thoughtful and well reasoned opinions on the game and Slough Town.

Another massive loss for the club and all the more tragic for the unexpected nature of it and his young age. My condolences to his family and his Dad who he would attend most games with.

RIP to another true Rebel.

Such a shock.

He was one of the nicest guys you could wish to meet. A driving force behind our fantastic website which when it started was years ahead of many professional teams.

Part of the supporters team in its heyday a few years back and had a great knowledge of non-league football and love for the club.

Going to be hugely missed. Can't believe the news he is far far too young.

My thoughts are with his family and close friends at this awful time

RIP Boxy

A terrible loss for all who knew him. Hard to believe that this could happen to someone so young. My thoughts are with his family and friends at this difficult time.

I did not know Chris very well personally but was well aware of the amazing contribution he made to the club's online presence through the website and twitter, and on this forum.

I was asked to write a short tribute to Chris this morning by the Observer through Mike Lightfoot on behalf of the Supporters Trust. It will appear on the Trust website in the next few minutes. I only hope I have been able to do some justice to Chris.

Another Rebel taken too early, RIP.

Still can't believe this. Chris was a young guy. A quiet lad but a familiar face that was always there both home and away. Very knowledgeable about non-league football as others have said.

Another sad reminder that the game we all love isn't that important in the grand scheme of things.
