littlehampton
The Essex boys come to Town! This Tuesday evening 7.45pm the QE2 Stadium stages one of the most eagerly awaited Ryman Premier Division clashes of the season, when Town lock horns with rivals East Thurrock United. Both Town and the Rocks are having a good season, both are on an impressive run of results, and both teams will fancy their chances of success, in what should be a gripping, highly competitive, too close to call contest.Definitely not a match for the faint-hearted, and definitely a match not to miss. Can Town make home advantage tell? We are about to find out!Come on Towners let's lift the roof, and give Brad and the lads full vocal support from start to finish, so they play out of their skins!Good luck everyone - see you there!!'COME ON THE TOWN'

1F in Enfield
A frustrating evening. East Thurrock came with a plan to disrupt the play and slow down the game and it paid off. Town dominated the first half and just couldn't capitalist on possession. We are really missing a player who can put the ball in the net. Any update on Constant? What's happened to Cousins? littlehampton
Disappointment apart, this was cracking game between two well matched, very good sides, and in all honesty,I felt neither team deserved to lose. Town put on a fine performance, all over the pitch, and stretched the Rocks defence to its limits. We had numerous chances in both halves to win this match, and we did everything but score. We will play a lot worse than this and win, but I agree with 'If in Enfield' that we need a proven striker, capable of putting away chances on a regular basis. Credit to ETU who were put under the cosh for long periods of the game. They remained composed, clinical, always looked dangerous on the break, grabbed two goal and eventually clinched the points. Town can take plenty of positives from this match. Maintain this standard of performance, convert chances, and you will mix it with the best in this league.
