Entertaining game at Krooner.  Chertsey raced into a 2 goal lead with 2 fantastic crosses leading to an og and a goal from that man Pomroy.

 

Camberley got one back before the break and could have been level.  2nd half was pretty much one way traffic and Camberley had lots of chances before Chertsey were reduced to 10.  Camberley finally got level and then went onto to win it with 2 late goals.

Cove 3-4 Ashford Town

 

Niggly affair between the top 2, with the visitors sweeping into a quick 2-0 lead. Cove got one back with a Kirby free kick but then almost immediately conceded again to go into the break trailing 3-1 which didn't flatter Ashford, who then got a quick 4th after the restart. Game over? Not really as Cove got another back midway through the half before we had 2 red cards. First to go was the home keeper for clashing with one of the Ashford players, followed a few minutes later by Ashford's Mitchell Gouch for what reason I still can't figure out! Cove bundled in another 7 minutes from time which looked like an OG to give themselves hope but Ashford managed to see the game out and edge nearer the leaders.

Cracking game with a sting in the tale, this one. The visitors certainly looked far the better side in the first half, although they did dish out a serious bit of clog also. Just a rip snorter of a strike separated the sides at the break, but the hosts hit back early in the second.

 

A relatively late strike for Villa must have seen them thinking of victory, but a minute later it's all square again and an injury time winner saw the hosts grab the points.

 

A splendid game that came to the boil as temperatures plummeted.

 

Thanks chaps....Football at Cobham, now there's a thing.
