Frome v Slough

We just thrashed moneybags St. Neots so playing a side in relegation trouble should see a win but we all know it doesn't work like that! I'd go for 2-1 Slough though.

As you say Glen, regardless of Frome being fourth from bottom, there are no such words in football as 'should win'.

Doesn't matter who you're playing, if you don't turn up you lose, simple as.

Frome had an excellent 2-0 win on Wednesday against Paulton, who we struggled to beat, so they will go into the game full of confidence trying to get out of the relegation zone.

I wont be there for the frome game. I have just come out of hospital after having a toe chopped off and have been told to take it easy for at least

another couple of weeks. No driving for now.

However I was not at St Neots and yet we still won, Perhaps I should stay away longer...lol

in the meantime COYR

Get well soon Dave and look forward to seeing you at the next match you attend.

Awful pitch and we did fairly well considering. Conditions meant a scrappy ugly game and maybe perhaps based on the chances we will be frustrated we haven't won but all in all probably a fair result. It wasn't like we totally dominated and we have walked away thinking we had totally thrown away a win

Think we can be reasonably happy with a point even though its frustrating we didn't get more. At 1-0 down least we found a way to get something. Attacking wise we just couldn't quite find a way to make it click like vs st neots

A point was about right, as both sides could have scored more.

Highlight of the day was the time warp tunnel on entering the Frome ground, as their ground is set in the 1970's where raciest and bigoted comments were in plentiful supply from the Frome fans fuelled with alcohol - it must have been in the 70's as a steward today would have dealt with it, had there been one around!

On chances, especially first half, we were the better team on what must be said was a poor surface to play any sort of football on.

After going one down I suppose we were just glad to get back into the game and come away with a point in the end.

Still, well done to the team on another away game where we've come away without getting beat.

COYR!!

BTW I did find it strange not hearing any our usual excellent vocal away support from behind the goal today.

I heard the comments in the second half, and also the people telling him/them to stop being racist.

The only thing I would like to add from the match point of view is that the pitch was extremely sticky to walk on for most of middle area from goal mouth to goal mouth, which as you know makes it really hard to do the twists and turns a player has to do.

So taking that into account, I though all of our players played really well
