The day started off nicely with a 1pm start in the BH after seeing England make history! Myself and Lord met up with Horniman, Mag & EMHdad. We sank a few pints before moving onto the club bar. Once we left to take our positions I just knew it was going to be one of those days. It was pi**ing down with rain and dark already. Canvey piled on the pressure and Gay was in fine form. The game had 0-0 written all over it though!

 

Myself, Lord & Redchin finally met up with Global on the terraces (nice hat Global <img src="/images/graemlins/smirk.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/images/graemlins/crazy.gif" alt="" />) and what a fine fella he is!

 

The 2nd half carried on much like the 1st and it was obvious to all that there would be no score on the day.

 

Being totally honest, Canvey were the better team on the day and we can count ourselves lucky that we got a point. MOM would have to be Gay, saved our bacon many times in the 1st half!!

 

A few pints in the BH after and here I am!! You just know some days are gonna be like this by just looking out the window! Main thing is we got a point when we prehaps didn't deserve one? Onwards and upwards!!
