Can we be play-off challengers....

Going back to the subject of this thread - Can we be play-off challengers...., I think the answer is no.

However I think the more important question currently is - Can we avoid relegation....., and I think the answer is if we beat the villagers today we will have 42 points and even after the Hereford adjustments that will put us safe, so  after only 2 games in 2015, yes.

I don't think that question was ever in question IMO!

I think just before the season started the relegation question was in focus.Nobody knew how good our team could or would be.

To Bakes and Unders and the players of our squad, they've so far done a commendable job.We can't claim to among the best of the division yet and nor are we among the worst.

On our day,we can give any side a run for their money but we're quite a way off being title challengers, yet, and this season it will take a mammoth effort to get to the lower play off places.Probably a step too far IMO with how results have gone of late but I

don't believe our managers will give up the ghost.

So looking forward to some tremendous matches in 2015,to cement our place in this division and to build for the next season.

We need to remember what our thoughts were in pre-season and that was most probably firstly staying up and anywhere around mid table would be great. So realistically a mid table finish is on the cards, we have to be happy with that. Hopefully a season in this league will give the managers an idea of what reinforcements are needed to push for a play off place next season. Our problem has been consistency as on our day we are a match for most if not all teams so maybe 2 or 3 quality additions might make that difference.
