Smudge
Will he be sober enough to write one?.Will we have enough room on this forum to accomodate it? He can make a 0-0 sound exciting.Just hope TRS filmed it for prosperity,if he did he could earn a few quid, selling it.
thevoiceofreason
CWU 9 Lingfield 2 Something of a bonkers afternoon, with a strip of frost down one side of the pitch making it a pleasure to see a game at all. Although three up after half an hour, Wood didn't have everything their own way and Lingfield's goal in reply just made the thought that the game wasn't done and dusted enter heads. A goal crazy second half saw Wood open up Lingfield's beleaguered rearguard time and again, although the visitors' second goal to make it 8-2 may well have been the best of the lot. 9-2, that's about 35p a goal...can't be bad! TRS
Wood's Mario Embalo bagged a 5 minute hat trick in the second half and ended the game with 5 goals to his name! Lingfield's defence non-existent at times. Was expecting a close game too!

Thought the visitors generally had a decent attitude though, as days like that aren't easy.
Powelly1
Did Lingfield play an incredibly high line this afternoon? They did a lot against us on Tuesday in the SSC and after the game I thought they'd get hurt against CWU if they did that as Embalo is quick and powerful. Looks like I may have been right! They certainly tried to play high up the park, but they were up against quick and savvy opposition who gave them a torrid time.
