Of course we face ETFC now they are essentially what was Cockfosters. I remember when Royston were practically bottom and we were struggling then not long before we played them Attfield took over brought in his players and Hammond for a reported 4 figure transfer fee!!! and we were one of the first to face the new look side. Went over there was a crowd of 250 in good voice and they battered us

Same with me. I was at Sun Sports that season and we played them in the first few weeks of Paul coming in & lost 2-1. The home fixture was towards the end of the season when they were in full flow & we lost by 5 or 6 with a Hammond hat trick

3 points on the road for Hertford Town in difficult conditions.

Shockingly bad 1st half, going 1-0 down and missing a pen before a half-time rocket from the Gaffa and the lads came out looking like a different team.

Should have scored more but Biggleswade could have also added again at the end so happy enough with the win and up to 5th with games in hand.

 

8 unbeaten now and looking good for a late challenge.

 

No food at all at Biggleswade today so kudos to LoucasX who left at half-time and emptied the local chippy buying fish suppers for the shivering, traveling fans.

I remember that end of season game Keithy, lovely weather. I'm sure we could have actually gone 1 up early on though through Andy Avis or someone random. Then we never got a shot on target after that and they bought off Hammond the second he hit 3. You were a busy man that day! LoL

When it really mattered this week "Vards' drew a big old blank. Him and Tring's very own gangster, Tyler Collins, were tucked away firmly in the pockets of the Norwich defenders. Disappointed in the ssml sides showing this weekend, there's always next year.

 

On a side note, top crowd down at the Grass Roots Arena.
