Enfield Town Seat Sponsorships

No doubt Enfield Town supporters have seen the new developments at the ground or read about them in the local press and I am now able to inform you that the club has taken charge of 50 seats and a covered terrace area. This will greatly enhance the facilities at the ground and will reward the many loyal supporters, home and away supporters, who have braved the rain, wind and snow over the last two seasons.

The club is aware that should it wish to progress to the Ryman League in the future, then it would certainly need at least another 100 seats in place by March 31 2004.

The club had a remarkable response to the ‘Sponsor a Seat’ campaign and has managed to attract £4400.00 which equates to 88 seats sponsored.

A draw was made on the night of the recent AGM and 50 names were drawn out of an impressive Tesco bag by two of our loyal supporters.

Those 50 lucky supporters have been contacted to arrange for a visit to the ground to have their photograph taken, should they wish, with a current Enfield Town FC player of their choice. A name plate will also be produced and fixed to a seat.

All 88 supporters so far will also receive free vouchers and a certificate of thanks

The Club wish to take this opportunity to thank all sponsors for your patience in this matter.

If anyone feels that they would like to sponsor a seat, then all they need do is contact me by e-mail and I will send them further details.

Here's looking forward to making use of the new stands against Burnham Ramblers in the League Cup.

I am amazed!!!!!!!!!

It took me 30 minutes to cut, paste and edit something I originally had done and yet it only took 3 minutes for the Club to benefit from another 2 seats being sponsored!

I have asked Neil to put the article on the ETFC home page with a link to a form giving more details of the scheme.

Therefore, supporters have a choice of contacting me by e-mail or using the form.

I originally asked for 70 seats to be sponsored by the start of the season and we did in fact hit it. Matters then slowed down slightly but we have still managed to sell some 18 sponsorships over the last three months, which I thank everyone for.

I'll follow Southport's lead and look forward to processing the 100th cheque by Christmas.

Stuck with what to purchase someone for Christmas? How about a seat sponsorship! Novel, new, only a limited supply in stock. What else is there to buy?

Income from the sponsorship of 92 seats has been banked and I know that at least 6 people have said they want to take part in the scheme.

The name plates are to be produced by Fastsigns(Southbury Road)and one will be put in place to see what it looks like. The rest will follow.

One supporter won our lottery the other week and quickly donated his winnings to the scheme. Thanks Richard.
