Slough Town Supporters Trust can announce that Chairman Mike Lightfoot stood down from his position at last week's AGM. We are also still actively seeking a new secretary.

It has already been decided by the Trust Board that the joining fee will remain at £10 and that ALL junior members will be free. However, as per the newsletter I sent out to members in June  if a member wishes to make an additional donation or monthly donations they are more than welcome.

This decision was taken due to the uncertainty as to when supporters will be able to see a match live again with all of the other restrictions that will be imposed on clubs.

The new Trust membership period commenced 1st July( in line with our financial period)

We already have several members that have rejoined and some that have made extra donations.

Although this is a ( quiet period) as far as Trust activity is concerned the more funds that are raised now will help the Trust to support the club during what will be an "interesting" period.

The website is now up and running again, in a new guise.

There was technical issues during a migration of the site between two companies, after a buy out, some of which could not be fixed.

The website is now under a new address....

www.sloughtownsupporterstrust.com

If you have the trust website as one of your Internet favourites you need to do the following to change it.

1. Pull down the favourite list to the trust option.

2. Right click on the Trust option

3. Select Edit

4. Change the address from .co.uk to. com

5. Save.

Your favourite link will then open up the new site

What if you don't have it as one of your favorites, is the current link to the site on the home page going to be changed?

To the trust I would just like to say I have travelled up and down the country on the coach over 55 years to have a great day out supporting the Rebels.

It.s sunday I  have just got home  4 pm to Bassett having stayed in slough fri and sat night to go to York on sat I have spent a lot of money to do so £35 for the coach.

May I say one of the worst days travelling and watching a Slough game ever I am still raging as being a quiet person I do not spend all this money and 5 hours on the coach to be bullied laughed at and made to look small  in front of 50 people by a big mouthed gobby idiot of a person Mark Clements.

I had to change coaches to come home from York as I did not want to be on the same coach as him coming back to Slough.

Never put me on the same coach as him ever again.

I also spend money in the bar at every home game I do not want to be served or hand over money ever again when he is serving.

Take the loud grinning smiling big mouthed idiot out of your roster and away from the front line.

He forced me to swear loud and a lot I would like to apologise to everyone on the coach for my language.

Sorry to hear you had to go through that. Totally unacceptable and uncalled for.

So sorry about what happened to you Steve.

The only thing is he is not asked by the Trust to do any things on coaches or bar work.

We are very limited what we can do, but we will be looking into it.
