Trust Website

Recommended Posts

As you're hopefully all aware the Trust online presence has increased over the course of the season.  I just wanted to bring everyone up to speed on what the Trust is now doing online.

The Trust website www.sloughtownsupporterstrust.co.uk has the following:

  • Information on what the Trust does, who is on the Trust board, and how to contact us, the benefits of being a member and how the Trust uses the money from membership
  • Up to date news on events, fundraising, coach travel and other developments
  • A new Away Travel page containing the latest coach info for the Trust, and an online form for booking your place on the coach through our website
  • Our new online membership payment system through PayPal, which also allows people to make donations too, and of course links to the traditional membership form and the 500 Club form.

We are also on Twitter www.twitter.com/sloughtownst or @sloughtownst and on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/SloughTownSupportersTrust where all the news updates are also put.

Since going live in August we have more than 100 followers on Twitter and more than 40 likes on Facebook.

One of the first things I was told when I joined the Trust board was that people didn't think there was anywhere near enough communication from the Trust.  That changes this season and will continue to do so.  There are also further ideas in the pipeline.

The Trust has broken 100 members for the first time in years, so why not sign up if you're not already a member?

Can we please replace the Trust membership form thread that is pinned to the top of the forum with this one? Thanks.

The Trust website now has an events page which will contain information on events that are coming up and has a history of Trust events.

I've also added a new front page containing one of Gary's promotional posters.

The Trust website is now the home of the Prediction League. The new page is currently advertising for new players, it's only £10 fo the season with the new goalscorer points system and the PL cup still going. It will be updated with the league table and cup draws through the season.
