Couple signings in.

Also some great match reports on here. Honest and regular regardless of results. Heard training this week has been positive.

You have got to hand it to Tring, when I watched them against Hale Leys they kept going till the end even though they were under pressure. No one wants to see a team thrashed week after week, hope they can keep going.

Another result today, Pitstone & Ivingoe 1 Hale Leys 7. 5 goals very early in the game 1-4 and a late 3 goals in the last 20.

Nasty collision between our two new signings game abandoned with 25 left and Harpenden 3-0 up. Best wishes to both lads and hope not as serious as it sounded

Stony v Risboro I would think would be a interesting game. That's my pick of the day for div one.

Wasn't the greatest game of football but stony battled well and won 1 nil with a solid defensive display.

Stony 1-0 Risborough.

Probably 75% Risborough possession but the three best chances fell to Stony.

Risborough have some decent players and play nice football but I wonder how they will deal will chopped up pitches all winter. They never really threatened us on a very heavy pitch.

We have developed a system which is very hard to break down. Seems to be working.

Thought it'd be a close game. Good result especially given how Risboro have been doing. Two teams looking much stronger than last year.

Hertford Town 1 Hillingdon Borough 1

Dreadful game, not helped by a ridiculous decision by the referee to red card the visiting keeper for a foul just outside the penalty area, with the Hertford forward motoring away from goal. With an outfield player between the sticks, it looked curtains for strugglers Hillingdon. But the ref decided to even it up by sending off the Hertford No.5 and awarding a pen. Was at the other end of the ground, but it looked suspiciously like evening things up.

Home 'keeper Ameagbe pulled off a fine save from the pen, but his good work was to no avail moments later when he was picking the ball out of the back of the net. Premier Div top scorer Leigh Rose quickly equalised with an effort from a narrow angle that the regular keeper might have saved.

The second half saw Hertford utterly incapable of finding out if the stand in keeper was any good, and if anything, Hillingdon looked more likely to get the winner. Very poor fare today, the high spot being meeting former striker and record goalscorer Kevin Cooper, now retired but missing his football!

Results like this aren't great, hopefully they will get a manager who will bring some players in.

From what I've seen so far and heard from first team manager , Hale Leys best side by miles and really in a division below the level of their squad. Others chasing second bit of a gap opening from the bottom half at the moment.

Nice trip to Southend for us next week.

IS OFF

Once again, the only game in all the divisions to be called off. 3 "home" games in a row, i haven't been down to Reynolds Field to see what must be a massive drainage issue, considering the number of postponed games. None of the players have been happy after a great training session, and looking at twitter i don't think the WGC players were impressed either.
