Epsom & Ewell have NEVER won on the 29th November in our entire Senior history dating back to 1924. No other date is as bad for us.

Our 'Under 18's' are due to play at  The New Defence  tonight.

Then you better be suspicious because Guildford City v Epsom & Ewell is off. There is a large section in one corner that is deep in mud. That is despite the Council groundsmen working on it on Thursday, Friday and today. It's a shame because everyone was looking forward to the first game under new management.

I am aware of the postponement of the Guildford City match but I am not aware of any other postponements other than Dorking v Cobham which was called off earlier, so presumably all others on.

Means Cove and Farleigh stay top of their respective Divisions.Knaphill get a valuable 3 points in the relegation dogfight.whereas Hanworth Vila lose a 2-0 lead at half time,to still prop up the Prem.

Still  -  With Dorking F.C. having no game yet again today, I decided to obey orders from 'Er Indoors', and managed to get the bathroom decorated at last. I could repeat a little anecdote about decorating, but then again, p'raps not !!

A goalkeeping 'moment' produced the match winning penalty in what was a decent game to watch. Proper football on a testing pitch between two sides giving their best and only getting a tad grumpy with each other late on. Sensibly refereed, both sides getting on with it and played on the stuff cows munch. That'll do for me, chaps
