ProgEd
Jim has asked me to let you know that Omar Beckles, the only player to have started every game for us this season, has left us after being (legally) approached by St Albans City. Steps are being taken to bring in another defender before our next league match.

Eastside Urchin
Some players drive me mad, luckily we still have a few stalwarts at the club who know a bit about loyalty

Wivenhoe Urchin
This is shocking. At a time when we need stability and players to fight for results, we can't be losing a key defender who can also score goals.

Lord Upminster
Omar has moved onto the conference south and better things. I wish him well. Life goes on……………..
Eastside Urchin
I have no problem with players wanting to better themselves, but to fck off a day or two before a cup tie, which I believe he is already been played in so cup tied,is to me bad darts. I don't believe in a non league transfer window like ive heard some say,I like that players can move around, but I like players to move having enhanced their careers and onto better things,it just seems to me like he's jumped ship as let's face it's,his performances haven't set the place on fire, despite being highly recommended by some at Margate. St Albans is a step up,historically they are a bigger club and now they are higher but it's hardly a massive step
Lord Upminster
Could not agree more EU. If he does not want to be at the club we are better off without him. Omar did a reasonable job while he was with us and it is for that I wish him well. Time to move on and find a better replacement if possible
