Being on the Adam Cornell thread and with the mention of Rummy I thought Martin was talking about the future.

I think Rummy is due back in the next couple of weeks and Dobbo might be out for a month so it was partly a future thing. Dobbo has been our top performer for me this season so absolutely when fit he would play.

 

I could have seen us playing that formation today but with Ben Edwards injured and Sears away not sure who would slot in as the third centre mid. Maybe stick Jake in a free role.

 

Can't make it today, hope we give a good account of ourselves and come through unscathed by injury. COYR

Seems Adam has signed for Godalming.

 

Slough seems to have become the feeder club for Godalming and Aylesbury.No wonder they are both near the top of the Central division ! The irony of it.

Shows that many of our cast offs weren't that bad after all !

 

I know Hotspur,Lino,the other imposter,won't agree but to me our best signings for some considerable time,has been our joint managers.They are exactly what our club needed and long may they continue.

Couldn't agree more 3spirit. I've been so impressed with Neil and Jon. Don't mean to sound a brown nose but in every interview I've heard they come across really well and their new ideas and tactics have been a breath of fresh air. Also both seem shrewd characters and seem to make the right calls at the right times on and off the field. Bloody glad we got em at Slough!
