I really think tring townie that u ment yeah just the 2 as in he scored more than others instead of only 2 goals!!!!!!. Glad that he has scored tbf because it didn't look as though tring was going to win any games without him! Ppffttttt

Just recovering after a long day out yesterday, inexperience just killed Cockfosters really as there youngsters just failed to turn up. Not a bad strike from the ipswich lad cut in side and stuck it exactly where he told the boot to put it. Not a great game overall but lovely burger and chips before our travel home in the maroon not so go quick fiesta.

 

Great result yesterday for the Sun, Stevie Woolner kept me updated throughout and said we were much the better side even though Harefield had just got in a few loanees from Hanwell apparently aswel?

Thanks K, oooh well As much as i would like to get over and see my beloved Sun smash Tring i want to start getting to watch a few more games Hatfield/WGC definatly being one! Gonna be one hell of a game. The likes of Gary Sippotts battling with Captain Kenna and he's hair. Then at the other end Jack Robinson vs WGC striker Chuck Norris , mouth watering tie!

Haha, good save   . TringsTowie, You probably never heard of Enfield 1893 until Saturday, let alone knew their previous results. 

 

Look, I like Chris Vardy as much as the next Tring spectator, but he's not there yet. I hope he does well myself, but there are other ssml strikers ahead of him right now. Players like Jamie double A, Lee Armitt, JB Christie, whose bodies can handle the demands of ssml football and brush off knocks and niggles to play week in-week out, and then stick it in the onion bag like it's no big deal. I brought it up over a few ales in the Robin Hood the other night and we all agreed, Vards is a long way off writing himself into Tring folklore.

Myself haven't seen the lad play but good goal scorers score in a good average or poor team. Mr vardy doesn't seem to be getting the ratio of others which does go along way to proving he isn't the finnished article!. Don't think that there are many players that don't play through injuries anyway so that dispels the point of if he wasn't injured etc. our own mr Armstrong looks like John Wayne when he comes into the clubhouse after games but seems to shrug off injuries to play. Think me vardy has the same goal ratio as our cm Ashley Lewis, mAybe we should move him up top too so he will get the golden boot!
