Ian
We have no clue whether the game will be replayed but on the assumption it will be, all supporters are advised to retain their match tickets from today.
GlenSTFC
How many of the 100 odd Slough fans are going to make the trek midweek realistically? Should be a partial refund at least, we've been robbed in more ways than one today.
Ian
I thought the Slough fans showed considerable restraint given that we were aggrieved party. Let's not forget there was a similar incident from Banbury fans towards the officials last time we were there in the FA Cup.
GlenSTFC
Even more so if there's history to punish them severely. Or any fan can decide if their team is losing let's chuck a bottle at the ref and game abandoned and no consequences!
Bernie Gogan
Just back from Banbury & have now found out the circumstances of why it was abandoned! I wondered why SIX police vehicles including 2 wagons roared past me down Station Approach all lights flashing. Was it THAT bad that around 20 officers were needed? I neither saw nor heard any disturbance. Whatever, I hope the moron who threw the bottle was detained along with any other idiots involved. Ian
There were only four or five police in attendance after the game.
Mr Rebel
From what I can gather ftom a slough fan who witnessed what happened the culprit/s were just stood there near the tunnel and were not even approached by the police but in all honesty didn't see any of it happen myself What I do know is that the behavior was totally unacceptable and those involved should be heavily punished. Not even totally sure why they were so angered it was only half time as well did they have that little faith in their own team rescuing anything
Brighton on holiday
What use is that to me? Or Matlock rebel? Or yeovil Steve? We have all spent a fortune and hours of travelling - for what? I agree with the ref for refusing to come back on but this happened last time we went there and this time i heard one of their stewards was abusive to Slough. Sorry to proper Banbury fans but there should be No replay and 3 points to Slough

His fan was in the wrong instead of mouthing off he should of been embarassed!!!
Graham Cox
WHat is certain is that no supporter of our club was involved and that we are the aggrieved party. Banbury stewarding was poor and offered no protection to players or 0fficials . Seems to me they must have broken several rules and the punishment should fit this. 3 points to us and a big fine for them should suffice in my view
Hammer_rebel
Thanks for that info! I am sure Steve and the managers are not going to let this one go. We deserve those 3 points

Sir Rebel1965
Rather than wild speculation, lets just let the ref make his report and then it is up to the league to make sure the matter is dealt with properly - the league is responsible, it is up to them to now deal with this correctly. GlenSTFC
Hope any decision isn't dragged out for weeks, can't say I have much confidence in the league making the correct decision though...
Bernie Gogan
I must have been wearing blinkers! I walked past the clubhouse through the crowd and got into my car, never witnessed a thing (there again I was at Maidenhead last week and missed a sending off)! Whatever comes and goes we should get the points, not some replayed game in midweek. Hope the ref is OK, Without the officials we'd have no game so they deserve respect from everyone. It's a hard job, they don't deliberately make wrong or poor decisions, in fact I thought the ref had a good game, the bookings made were appropriate. Presumably they were the points of contention from the home support. and the group of morons masquerading as supporters.

What I will say is that Refs have got to be stronger when it comes to being hassled and surrounded by players appealing decisions. You tell a player/s to go away once otherwise you will get booked and stick to it otherwise players will spot a weakness and take full advantage of it. I think a good idea is at the beginning of a game or at half time to go into the individual teams dressing rooms and let it be known that you will not stand for it, then there can be no argument when players are booked. I just think Refs are too soft on this and allow themselves to be continually surrounded and hassled by players.
