good turn out from ETFC fans, think the Cockfosters bar man thought we were all avoiding president Bush!

seemed to be a fair number of new faces in te yellow strip tonight, some in fo on who and where they came from would be good

Number 14 look useful, if he'd get a pair of boots that would stop him sliding over he'd be even betta!

Yes, the spiky haired 14 (Robbie?) looked pretty useful.

Keeper was good too. Andy Carr had a god first half but vanished in the second.

I was also impressed with Billy Cove, not only his play (first half) but mainly with his attitude and the encouragment and advice he gave to the new and younger players.

The left back (Eddie?) looked promising. Joh Hyatt at the back certainly looks like one for the future.

A pleasant evening. Nice place, Cockfosters. Is it actually in LB Enfield or is it over in B****t?

Jim put him up front with Kevin Riley. Unfortunately as much as it says it on the Web Site Andy is not a forward. He will work all day long in midfield especially on the wings.

Jim was happy with his performance which was Andy's main concern and made a point of telling him after the match.

I think Billy Cove was excellent with the younger players, and as is becoming very evident is quite a character.

Happy - there's no Barnet's in my closet. Is it true that since your therapy finished you only cross dress at weekends!!!

As for Billy Cove; with a great performance in goal, last weekend; and showing some silky dribbling skills last night he could prove to be worth his weight in gold.

Billy the cat was in fine form, Jason Geraty fine in the middle, backed with Nashy. Who was the number two, eddie someone. Looked really good and looked at home at left back. Couple great saves from Nick in goal. So the future for a reserve side looks really good.

By the way, let's praise god that Cockfosters is definatly in Enfield.

Best moment of the match for me was when one Cockfosters player booted the ball straight into his team mate's face, only for the ball to rebound and hit him in the face too.

Or was it when the ref got hit on the back of the head by the ball ?

Or it could have been when the 'lino' got hit by the ball.

Am I easily pleased or what?
