A real to and fro game that gave those who attended real value for money.

Those who could not make it out of bed really missed out!

Disappointed how we managed to give two goals away in the first 15 mins which made it an up hill battle, but battle the boys did.

The second half improved all the way to the final whistle and in some ways we were unlucky not to come away with all 3 points.

It was said before kick off that a point and no injuries would be a good result, not sure about if any injuries were picked up but the point was hard fought for and could have been more.

Looking forward to Tuesday if it goes ahead.

Maybe we should of stopped the second one in the build up, but give credit for the 2 excellent strikes into the top 2 corners.!!!!!

Yep, first goal was an awesome strike. I thought that goals two and three we allowed Dawkin too much room to run at our defence unchallenged though.

Last 30 mins I thought we were showing glimpses of our old selves and showed great character to get back into the game.

Must admit at half time i couldnt see us getting a point today so some stern words must have been spoken at half time as we were a different team second half! What a determined comeback, it was impressive after a dire first half where we let them walk through our team and gifted them two goals. Man of the match has to be Billy Jeffrey who had a very solid debut and is a very welcome addition.

Great come back from the boy's today, showed great character and in the end got a deserved point.

It has to be said that it was pretty woeful first half. We were second best all over the park and only had one effort on goal which was Yorkies headed goal.

In the first half Cambridge's work rate was far superior to ours and it was patently obvious that when we got the ball they were all over us like a rash and when they got the ball they had plenty of time with hardly a challenge in sight.

In the second half, with the wind in our favour, we upped our work rate, put more pressure on them which in turn enabled us to create a lot more chances and turn the game around.

Cambridge's second and third goals were well struck but when, for example, you allow a player to run from one side of the pitch along the edge of the area without a single challenge you often get the inevitable.

As said, great comeback and sets us up for a big challenge coming up on Tuesday.

Solid debut from Billy Jeffrey but MOTM for me goes to Luke Knight who showed glimpses of the excellent player that we know he is.

A real spirited comback by the Rebels after anothor terrible first half there second and third goals not just down

to the defence but the whole team not being together and giving the ball away with such ease.

Although being 3-1 down it does look like we missed out by not getting a penalty in the first half to.

Good to see Eddie back on the score sheet could of had another.

Goalie made an important save tipping the ball over right at the end of game

For me another fine display from Dobbo he was always causing havoc for the opposition with his crossing, assists, and tackling back

for the team.

If it goes ahead lets get back to winning ways on tuesday night should be a big crowd against a tough Hereford side.

Definitely a game of two halves.  First half was not good, just as we grabbed our chance to get back into the game, we couldn't see it out to half time and gave away another goal.  It seemed like we couldn't put the passes together or stop Cambridge from coming at us.

Second half was so much better but I was worried that we weren't going to take the chances at 3-2 to grab a point with time running out.  But credit to our players, we finally got to see it all click together and we never gave up and got the goal that the second half deserved.

Hopefully this will give some confidence to our squad with a few still to come back from injury too.  Looking forward to us producing more like the second half rather than the first against Hereford and Banbury.

The second half performance has got to help the players confidence for the coming games, with that "you are not putting us down" attitude.

You could see that as the second half went on, the confidence in everyone went up. The defence were holding the line further forward which made the midfield hold a higher line as well, which meant that Cambridge had two lines to get through instead of 7 or 8 people in roughly one line close to the goal.

Also, by having those distinct lines, the players were moving around more easily allowing the person with the ball multiple passing options, and also showing better bebound/tackle options as well.

Came back really pleased with a well earned point.

Whatever was said at half time, needs to be said before kick off as well :)
