Thanks for the offer mate but I'll be at Watford cheering the Hammers on.

May pop back into Hornchurch if Bigchin, Lord or if any of our other mates are still lurking in the bar after the Urchinettes.

Other than that, I'll def be at Tranny game, can't make Newport, West Ham at home I think, must get a chins fixture list.

Yes Nige, it was Jenas. Iwas born in Plaistow but mum & dad are both geordies. Followed them for as long as i can remember home & away while living down here. Also had a season ticket up there when i only had my PR*CK to keep but then came the ball & chain & dustbin lids so had to give it up. Still go to as many away games as i can if able to get tickets. Might not be as many as i used to go to now that i`m following the Chins.

Lord... As for the so called gang rape. If anything unto order did happen that night ,then anyone who was guilty should be severely dealt with NUFC players or not.

Can i ask one thing tho....We`ve touched on the subject in previous posts about the parents being to blame for the way they have brought their kids up. I for one believe that to be the case & being a parent myself of two girls, one of them being a teenager. I certainly hope that when she is 17 she has a lot more respect for herself than that girl has & she`s not spending the night with some overpaid prima donna`s in London clubs & hotels. RAPE???? & still had brekkie with them the next morning..... I`m sorry but QUICK BUCK springs to mind.

Mag, my first reaction when the story broke, was that some old (or young) slag was trying to cash in on it all. I mean, if you've been raped, I'd assume you'd be completely traumatised and wouldn't go running to the newspaper that offered you the most money for your story, just days or hours after the alleged rape occurred. We saw the same thing with that tart that tried the same stunt with the Hamilton's. That said, if they did do it and the police can prove it, they deserve to go down, as does Jody Morris, if a court finds him guilty. If however, this girl is making up malicious lies for financial gain, the courts need to take action against her, as they did with the woman that lied about the Hamilton's raping her.

Have any players been questioned yet? All there has been so far is tonnes of press speculation and I agree with you, I doubt it will ever get to court.

What it does reinforce though in my opinion, is the belief amongst the majority of the Premier League and even Division One players, that their sh*t don't stink and that they are the top b*ll*cks and can behave as they want. Nige mentioned it in his posting, that the players don't give a jot about their clubs at that level. I must say I totally agree with him, these players are taking us supporters for mugs! It is what lead me to get totally disillusioned with football at the top level.

re. game dagenham and redbridge

to all you guys who slagged of the hornchurch boys

did you know there were 4 of our under 18s in the squad plus 2 of last years under 18s. i think it might have been nice for you to say how well the lads done against a full strengh confrence side and not how bad hornchurch were. this was a great experence for these 16 and 17 year olds. still it shows how far this club as come in 3 years when fans moan about the team we put out against a confrence line up

come on the fans give the young ones a bit of credit these boys are the hornchurch stars of tomorrow

Nobody slagged off the hornchurch team..wind your neck in mate...

All people are saying is it would have been nice to be told that there was a totally inexperienced side being fielded...did you look in the programme???it showed a full first team squad were supposed to be playing...

We are just a bit dissapointed because of the great run that the Urchins had been on was ended in this way..I am sure you will agree that by the size of the crowd, greater things were expected, And if you read ALL the threads, you will see that there were "pats on the back" for some of our players..and

I couldnt agree more that the youngsters have to be "blooded" at some stage as you cant beat match experience ,but a whole team????

Anyway..its water under the bridge now so lets look forward and see what the Urchins are gonna achieve for the rest of the season.

right then...just a birds eye view on Tuesday.....

firstly...it wasn't a 'reserve' team...lets look shall we...

keith rowlands,,west ham...northern ireland

bradley allen..QPR...england u21

gav mcgowan..arsenal england u21

taff martin..crystal palace..welsh u21

andy douglas..arsenal

patrice ada...lyon...cameroon u21

and a few assorted and gifted youngsters who will undoubtedly make the grade....

in answer to 'billy'...dont worry mate...we know whats what with the youngsters...

in answer to the moaners about 'reserves'....

well...sorry but GB's job is to run the team...even I dont interfere or get told who's playing until the team sheet comes out....

a measure of where we are is this...GB was disappointed that we lost...he felt the team he put out was good enough.....and on paper it was....

get used to losing sometimes boys...we can't win everything and nor can real madrid or anyone else.... <img src="/images/graemlins/blush.gif" alt="" />
