Matchday Programme

I know that we are all indebted to the many people who give up their valuable spare time to keep our club going but IMHO the quality of our Matchday Programme has gone down in recent editions.

This is not meant to be a critisism just an observation.

Cheers RR !  :)

What about that great programme that had your photo and Graham's profile next to it ! That's what I call a class magazine! I blame the printers! ha ha! but then I would, wouldn't I !

I don't think the programme is poor one.Actually think it's still a very good one compared to others.Just think the layout has had to change due to someone stepping down from that duty[Glen,I think?].

Having smaller writing crams more on to a page but probably looks less classy.

Not sure in this division,as yet to make an away game except for Burnham, but the dross other clubs in the Central division produce, with the exception of one or two [Northwood's particularly good],ours is easily better, still.

Must admit I've missed Steve Cumber's articles as they were always insightful and made you chuckle but we've still got the musings of Brighton Rebel, which are always entertaining and the knowledgeable John Tebbit on board, who knows his Slough history[and many others I might add] plus lots of other features.

So RR,what other ways could it be improved?

First the coach now the programme, maybe you should be volunteering to help RR.

Perhaps it's an age thing,ARAAS !

Think all ages love a moan but when you get past 50, think you start becoming a professional at it ! ha ha ha!

Victor Meldrew syndrome has set in !  ;)

How did I know that someone (not you 3spirit) would chirp up with an inane reply?

I was not talking about the content of the Programme because, as we all know, there are excellent articles to read from John Tebbitt, Brighton Rebel, Alan Smith and even the new players and supporters page from your good self 3spirit.

I think what I was really talking about was the amount of white space on the pages, I think due to a change in type size and a change of headings at the tops of articles which just makes it look bare.

I think rightly, we've all been proud of the quality of our Programme and I just thought it was a shame to see it not up to it's usual standard visually.
